Fugitive On Run For A Year Caught In Sweetwater County

A Utah man who was on the run for over a year was arrested in Rock Springs Thursday, according to a spokesman for the Sweetwater County Sheriff's Department.

Dick Blust says 21-year-old Christopher Fierro, originally of Los Angeles, was wanted by authorities in West Jordan, Utah for violating his probation on charges of two counts of attempted sexual exploitation of a minor.

Utah law enforcement, the U.S. Marshals Service and Sweetwater County Sheriff's Detectives tracked Fierro to a Rock Springs business, where he was arrested on May 11.

Sheriff Mike Lowell says his office is currently in contact to arrange for Fierro's return to Utah.
