Just in time for valentine's day, the Ft. Caspar Museum is hosting a free old fashioned valentine workshop.

The museum is hosting the event as part of the Fremont Ferret Family Fun Days series. The workshop is appropriate for all ages, and caters variable skill levels from simple to complex.

"We will have some historical valentines, just like they would have had in the 1860s that we found in 1800s journals and magazines," explains Trey Corkern, Education Curator at Ft. Caspar Museum.  "We have a little paper valentine craft that looks like one of the paper valentines we have on exhibit.  And we have some really simple valentines for the kids."

The event is scheduled for Saturday February 8th.  Admission to the valentine workshop is free with general admission to the museum, itself.

All supplies will be provided, and no reservations are necessary: simply drop this Saturday by any time between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. This event is free with admission to the Museum; children must be accompanied by an adult.

Admission to Fort Caspar Museum is $1.50 for adults; $1.00 for youth (ages 13-18 years); and FREE for children (12 years and younger).
