Fort Caspar Museum

Get ready all you ghost hunting enthusiasts, Casper has the chance to look for Casper (wha-wha-wha).

There will be free admission to the Fort Caspar Museum on December 4 as local authors host a book signing.

For those interested in the history of Casper and its evolution throughout the years, this is the perfect chance to visit, or revisit, some of the things that made Casper great.

The museum is limiting groups to 25 people.

Fort Caspar Museum, 4001 Fort Caspar Road, has begun a phased reopening with some restrictions in place for heath and safety as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, according to a news release. It has canceled all on-site programs and tours, but it will continue to offer monthly history programs online for children  and families...

"Wyoming Navy" consists of 26 panels with photos and histories of forty different vessels, ranging from simple tugboats to a nuclear-powered submarine.

The Fort Buildings will be illuminated only by candlelight, and there will be re-enactors, live music, activities, and free cookies and hot chocolate.

This interactive murder mystery includes a mock murder, a cast of suspects, clues, and a Western BBQ, all at an historic Casper location.

The museum will offer free admission to the nation’s active duty military personnel including Guard and Reserve, and up to five members of their immediate family.

This Casper Christmas tradition takes you back to a time more than 150 years ago.
