Food for Thought, formally known as, Totes of Hopes, is calling for volunteers to help stuff totes of food that go home to kids in need on the weekends. They also have need for delivery drivers.

Lori Burns, is program facilitator for the Food for Thought program and she says right now the big need is once a month to help stuff totes for the food bag program, "and what that is, is kids in need who only eat when they're at school, breakfast and lunch, so they're not eating dinner and then they go home on Friday and don't eat until Monday. This program helps them from Friday to Monday to bridge that gap."

Burns says the monthly packing event happens 4pm to 5pm on the fourth Wednesday of every month at the downtown, Food Bank of the Rockies Facility.

In addition, drivers are needed to pick up and deliver totes weekly to both Bar Nunn or Pineview elementary.

Burns thanks the Casper community for the overwhelming support they shown for the program
