A Casper man wounded in a fight ended up in jail.

Thirty-five-year-old Daniel Teel has been charged with one count of aggravated assault.

Investigators say on Wednesday evening, August 28th, they arrived at the 1400 block of East 2nd Street and found Teel bleeding from a wound on his arm.

Another man told officers that earlier, Teel had called him over to his car and when he leaned his head into the car, Teel punched and kicked him several times and threatened to kill him.

The man retreated into his house and got a gun and fired two shots at Teel's car.

Teel was wounded, but told investigators his injury was from a dog bite.

The victim suffered multiple facial fractures as a result of the attack.

A motive has not been determined.

Teel is being held on $50,000 bond awaiting trial and could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

He already has one prior felony conviction.
