Natrona County may have someone in place as an interim Parks Manager by this summer. At a work session this week commissioners directed the Parks Board to create a job description for someone who might eventually divert park management away from the Road and Bridge department.

Parks Board Chair, Stuart Hill says they need time to figure out whats needed.

"What we've been asked to do from the commission is to look at somebody for at least nine months. Get an idea of what's going on out there. Take a good look."

Large projects like the long term reservoir plan and recent concerns around trail use at Rotary Park have some wondering if it isn't time to find someone to focus solely on parks business, with Road and Bridge managed separately.
