Cheyenne East is one of the 4a state championship contenders and they have been an offensive juggernaut to start the season as they rang up 55 points on their win over Casper Kelly Walsh on Friday. The t-birds put 21 points on the board in the first quarter thanks to a 6 run yard run from ox Schroder, followed by an 83-yard TD connection from quarterback Graden Buell to Chance Aumiller, which was followed by a TD pass from Buell to Christian Anderton.

The 2nd quarter was much like the first as Aumiller tossed a TD pass to Adrian Hernandez, Anderton scored his 2nd touchdown of the game from 6 yards out and Buell hooked up with Jackson Hesford for 68 yards and a score so Cheyenne east had a 42-0 lead at halftime. Anderton added his 3rd touchdown in the 3rd quarter and Sam Hartigan had a 10 yard run to the end zone in the 4th quarter. Kelly Walsh had 5 fumbles in the game and with less than 125 yards of offense. The final Cheyenne East 55 and Kelly Walsh 0. The Thunderbirds at 2-0 will host Thunder Basin on Friday. The Trojans at 0-2 will be at Cheyenne South this week
