Casper: Respect Your Neighbors And Remove Your RVs From The Streets
The City of Casper wants citizens to respect each other and those who plow the streets this winter.
The city's code enforcement department reminds citizens that it is illegal to store recreational vehicles, boats, camper trailers and horse trailers on streets for more than five days in any 30-day period, according to a news release.
It is especially important for recreational vehicles to be removed from the city streets during the winter months due to drifting and blowing snow, poor visibility, icy road conditions, and other winter hazards.
Owners of recreational vehicles on streets may receive notice of violations.
RV’s may be stored on private property, but their owners should beware of sight-distance issues that may result.
