Casper Marathon Draws Over 350 Runners

The annual Casper Marathon was held on Sunday in nearly perfect weather conditions. A calm day helped the runners navigate the 26.2 mile course and the men's winner was John Kinner from Lakewood, Colorado with a winning time of 2 hours 59 minutes and 55 seconds. Casper's Chris Apodaca was 2nd in 3.08.08 with Derrick Anhalt of Lisle, Illinois 3rfd in 3.12.05

The women's winner was Kim Bradley from Highlands Ranch, Colorado with a time of 3.30.33. Dawn Ehrhardt from Huntington, New York was 2nd in 4.04.35 with Casper's Lisa Peterson 3rd in 4.05.03

In the half marathon, Andrew Winney of Casper took first in 1.33.20 with Rebecca Peterson of Casper placing 1st in the women's division in 1.34.53
