Current winter conditions are causing early closures for Casper businesses and schools. Here is the list of closures for Thursday, Feb. 23rd, 2017.

School:

• NCSD ANNOUNCEMENT: After a careful examination of transportation conditions and predictions of additional snowfall, wind and drifting snow throughout the day and by following NCSD protocol, schools will be released early today. -  Middle Level will be released at 12:15 PM today  -  High School Students will be released at 12:45 PM today  -  Elementary Level students will be released at 1:30 PM. today. Bus Transportation will be running at those designated times.There will be no afternoon NCSD preschool held today.
• Due to deteriorating weather conditions, Casper College will close today at 1:45 PM. All CC and UW-C classes and events are canceled after 1:45 PM.
• All NCSD sponsored after-school athletics, clubs and activities are canceled for today.
• Child Development Center is closed for afternoon classes.
• Stepping Stones Learning Center will be closing at noon today.
• AppleTree Early Care & Education will be closing at 2:30 today.

Business:

• Community Health Center of Central Wyoming will be closed today for patient and staff safety. ( If you have a scheduled appointment today please call 307-233-6000 TOMORROW to reschedule.)
• Natrona County Library -  both the Main Library and Mills Branch will close early today at 1:30 PM. All afternoon and evening programs have been cancelled.
• The Casper Recreation Center will close at 8:00 PM - The Aquatic Center will close at 7:00 PM. Adult Basketball games will be held as scheduled. (See Class Activity Cancellations Below)
• Hogadon Basin Ski Area is closed today.
• The Casper Senior Center will be closed today.
• Therapy Solutions is closed today.
• The Self Help Center will be closing at 1:00 this afternoon. (Group at the McKinley House has been cancelled for this evening.)

• Rocky Mountain Infectious Diseases closing at noon today.

Activities:

• All Casper Recreation Center Division classes have been cancelled for tonight. This includes swim lessons, Hip Hop, TaeKwon-Do, Cheerleading and Float N Tone. Adult Basketball games will be held as scheduled.
• Artcore's presentation of "Peter Rabbit Tales" will not be showing due to the closure of NCHS.
• Oil City Volleyball  has cancelled practice for tonight. A makeup practice will be Monday at same practice time.
• The 4:15 PM  showing of Eclipse; 'The Heart of the Sun' at the Casper Planetarium is canceled today due to closure of NCSD schools.
• Cub Scout Pack 2 Meetings are canceled today.
• All NCSD sponsored after-school athletics, clubs and activities are canceled for today.
• All Boys & Girls Club services are canceled for the remainder of the day.
• KW's play 'Beauty and the Beast' is cancelled tonight.
• Casper College Department of Theatre and Dance production of THE ROVER is cancelled.
