Bohl and the Cowboys Regroup for New Mexico [VIDEO]
Coming off a loss last Saturday night, the Wyoming Cowboys look to bounce back when they host the New Mexico Lobos Saturday at 1 p.m. in Laramie.
The Pokes lost a late lead for the second time this season in the 26-22 defeat to the Aztecs.
Wyoming (4-2, 1-1) now turns its attention to the New Mexico Lobos in the Cowboys’ annual homecoming game.
New Mexico (2-4, 0-2) is coming off three consecutive losses, two of which were in Mountain West Conference play.
UW head coach Craig Bohl addressed the media Monday in his weekly press conference. In the video above, Coach Bohl starts with a mention of homecoming week and how big that is. He quickly turns his comments to the loss to San Diego State and reflected on that game. Bohl went through the latest injury news for Wyoming, plus what’s going on with both sides of the ball, including some of the continued struggles in the passing game. He also looks ahead to this week’s opponent New Mexico and what their strengths are.
Saturday will be the 72nd meeting between the Cowboys and the Lobos on the football field. Wyoming leads the all-time series 38-33. That includes victories in the last two games versus New Mexico, 42-3 and 31-3.
The Pokes are favored in the game by 19.5 points as of Monday afternoon.
