No injuries were reported when six BNSF Railway coal cars derailed near the town of Bill on Sunday, a company spokeswoman said.

The crew reported the derailment at the Orin Subdivision about 6:15 a.m., Maia LaSalle said. Crews were responding to the derailment on Sunday, and the cause is under investigation.

The first main track is estimated to be returned to service early Monday morning, she added.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation also reported the derailment.

It advised motorists to not park on the roadway on Wyoming Highway 59 at mile post 34 north of Douglas.
