
3 Charged in Hammer Attack Plead Not guilty
RIVERTON, WYO. (AP) — Three suspects charged after Riverton man was beaten to death with a claw hammer have pleaded not guilty.
30-year-old Delight Estelle Sunrhodes and 29-year-old George Jr. Littlethunder III, both of Arapahoe, pleaded not guilty Thursday to second-degree murder in the march 7 death of Richard Longsoldier. the third defendant, 27-year-old Craig Brian C'bearing, of Ethete, pleaded not guilty to being an accessory to second-degree murder.
Investigators say Sunrhodes and Littlethunder used the claw end of a framing hammer to bludgeon Longsoldier to death at his home in Riverton. C'bearing allegedly started a fight with Longsoldier that the other two joined. He is accused of providing the hammer to Sunrhodes and Littlethunder.
