On a beautiful Saturday morning in the midst of another Wonderful Wyoming Weekend, sandwiched in between a Special OlympicsRodeo and the final night of the CNFR, I hopped on the bike to travel the 60 miles to Kaycee, Wy to see what this 1st Annual Chris Ledoux Days celebration had to offer. I and the several hundred others that were there were not disappointed.

After a quick stop at The Invasion Bar and more than a few conversations with old friends and new, it was a quick stroll over the bridge for the roughstock rodeo at 1pm which included riders from around the region, a few from the CNFR that weren't up for the short go, and a few of the PRCA cowboys just looking for a check to get em down the road. Also included was a Native American Relay Race, which if you have never seen it is well worth the price of admission.Right  after the conclusion of the rodeo the crowd moved downtown for the music of Chancey Williams and The Younger Brothers Band and Western Underground to follow. As I had commitments to get back to Casper, I missed the entertainment and from what I heard the best part of the evening. This one goes on my calendar for next year and Iwill not miss a minute of the action.

Here are a few pics of the beautiful day.
