You Are Invited to Father’s Day Celebration at Washington Park
Bring the family to Washington Park June 18th from 11:00am to 3:00pm for a Celebration of Families. Eat up some free BBQ, snow cones, and cotton candy at the 4th Annual Father’s Day Event from the Casper Housing Authority.
Show your kids how to boogie-on-down with the live music. Make sure to let them show you their moves. Then slide your way on down to the giant sabre-tooth slide. If that is too scary there will be the rockwall and obstacle course slides. Dads, I'd bet if you ask nice enough you can get your face painted with the kids. And did I mention free BBQ?!
If you have a business, group, or organization and want to participate in the celebration, booth space is available for $25. There are some requirements like you must have a family activity. Space is limited therefor you must contact Rachel Sanborn at Casper Housing Authority at 307.266.1388 x 22 or rsanborn@chaoffice.org
The Father’s Day Event is a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development initiative that aims to strengthen the bond between children and their fathers. Concurrently, the initiative has the goal of connecting dads to supportive services in their communities including, job training, health screenings and education opportunities.
