Wyoming Men’s Basketball TV Slate Revealed
There will be 13 TV appearances for the Wyoming Cowboys during the upcoming 2017-18 men’s basketball season.
The Mountain West released its men’s basketball national and regional TV package. Of note, the Cowboys do not have a non-conference game slated to be televised at this time. This does not include road games at Oregon State or South Carolina. Those will be released at a later time.
The Pokes will open MW play at home versus San Diego State. The game will be at 7 p.m. and is slated for an ESPN3 broadcast. Other ESPN Network games include Nevada (ESPNU) in Laramie on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 9 p.m. and at Fresno State Feb. 24 (ESPNU/ESPN3).
UW is slated for four appearances on CBS Sports Network with games at Nevada (1/3), UNLV (2/10) and San Diego State (2/14). Their one home game on that network will be the home edition of the Border War versus Colorado State on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 2 p.m.
The Cowboys will make five appearances on regional TV through AT&T SportsNet (formerly ROOT Sports). This includes home dates against Boise State (1/6), Fresno State (2/3) and New Mexico (2/20). The road dates are games at CSU (1/31) and the regular season finale at Boise State (3/3).
The only other televised outing is on the Mountain West Network through Stadium at New Mexico on Wednesday, Jan. 10.
Wyoming opens its season with a home exhibition against Regis University on Nov. 3. They officially tip-off the regular season hosting Chattanooga on Nov. 10.
