Wyoming Man Arrested for 10 Counts of Child Sexual Assault

A Reliance man was arrested in southwestern Wyoming last week and faces charges stemming from alleged sex crimes against children in Colorado spanning nearly 20 years.

Timothy Pearce, 56, is charged with three counts of sexual assault on a child, two counts of sexual assault on a child with a pattern of abuse, five counts of sexual assault on a child by someone in a position of trust and five counts of aggravated incest.

Pearce, who allegedly victimized multiple children, is accused of committing the crimes in Mesa County, Colorado between February 1999 and June 2017.

Pearce is being held in the Sweetwater County Detention Center with no bond, according to the Mesa County Sheriff's Office.

Mesa County investigators arrested Pearce on Thursday after obtaining a warrant.
