Wyoming GOP Seeks Applicants For State Treasurer
Following the recent death of Wyoming State Treasurer Joe Meyer, the Wyoming Republican Party is set with the task of seeking his replacement. The first step in that procedure is a call for applicants for the position.
Wyoming Republican Party Chairman Tammy Hooper has called a meeting of the State Central Committee to be held on Monday October 22nd, 2012 at the Holiday Inn, Riverton Wy, to select the names of three people qualified to fill the position. By law, the three names will then be forwarded to the Governor for his appointment of one of those three to fill the remainder of the term.
To be qualified a person must be at least 25 years old and be registered to vote as a Republican in the State of Wyoming.
Applications must include,
1) A completed application form
2) A letter expressing interest in being considered for the office
3) A resume and/or any other information to be considered as a part of application to the office.
