LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — University of Wyoming officials say they hope to decide by January 2020 where to build more than $300 million worth of new dormitories.

The Wyoming Legislature recently approved a bill to help the university pay for housing for 2,000 students.

The legislation gives the university Board of Trustees some discretion where to build the dorms.

UW Vice President for Student Affairs Sean Blackburn says a task force will likely work this spring and summer on how to proceed with the project.
