A Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper arrested two Richmond, Ind., residents for possessing felony amounts of marijuana in several forms, according to a news release.

A trooper stopped the vehicle about 7 p.m. Monday for speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone on Wyoming State Highway 191 about 10 miles north of Farson, according to the release from Patrol Sgt. David Wagener.

While speaking with the car's occupants -- Roy Hendricks, 46, and Michelle Hendricks, 47 -- the trooper smelled the odor of marijuana.

A search of the car yielded a cache including forms of marijuana and THC including edibles, patches, liquids, lotions, sprays and gel sticks. Marijuana in plant form was found, too.

The occupants were arrested and taken to the Sweetwater County Detention Center in Rock Springs.
