Tony Hawk Foundation Donates To Lander Skate Park

LANDER, Wyo. (AP) — Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk is helping build a new skate park in Lander.

Hawk's foundation is donating $10,000 to the project.

KOVE-AM (http://bit.ly/GLBOt5 ) reports that the donation brings the park's funding so far to $120,000, nearly half of what's needed. Backers hope to raise the rest and start building the park by the summer of 2013.
