Wyoming High School Track and Field

The schedule features 16 track meets in the Cowboy State in a variety of formats.

Most schools are not in competition over the upcoming holiday weekend. That means Thursday will be a busy day, weather-permitting.

There are small in-state track meets in Afton, Casper, and Rock Springs. Pavillion hosts the largest event on Saturday.

These honors go to the top two finishers in individual events at the state track meet or those who were part of a victorious relay last month in Casper.

This award is given to a student-athlete who finished in the top two of individual events or as part of a first-place relay team.

He is the two-time 4A State Champion in the event.

Sheridan, Lovell, Big Horn and Burlington captured team titles on the boys side.

Natrona, Lander, Kemmerer and Lingle-Fort Laramie won team championships

The weather was great which gave the athletes the best possible chance to succeed.
