Fall is in full swing in Wyoming, with cooler temperatures and breezy conditions as autumn arrives early this year.

Had enough of winter yet? YEAH, you're in good company. Well, enjoy this weekend. It won't be as cold in Wyoming and it won't be as windy. Some cold. A breeze for a few of us. But overall not bad. BUT THEN COMES NEXT WEEK...

With the exception of some strong winds and mountain snow, it doesn't appear that the weather will be too much of an issue in southeast Wyoming this week.

Hot, dry and dusty conditions are expected across southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle again Friday, but some relief is in sight.

That's thanks to a cold front moving through the area.

The weather service asks that people look for updated forecasts as the storm system approaches.

By sunrise Monday, snow will have spread into south-central, southeastern and the rest of eastern Wyoming.

Winds gusting up to 35 mph are expected to cause patchy blowing and drifting snow.

Roads are expected to become slick with limited visibility in snowfall Thursday night through the morning commute time on Friday.
