A former probation officer sentenced to probation, is back behind bars.

The Natrona County Sheriff's Office says Ruby Maddox has been terminated from the Casper Re-Entry Center, and placed under arrest for probation violation.

The Sheriff's Office is not allowed to say what prompted her most recent arrest, because she is awaiting a court hearing on the new charge.

In April, Maddox was given a three-to-five year suspended prison sentence with three years of probation, and four six-month suspended prison sentences after pleading guilty to one count of possession of a controlled substance and four counts of petty larceny.

She admitted that while working as a probation agent for the Wyoming Department of Corrections in 2012, she took pills from clients during home visits and in one instance, a puppy.

An investigation also revealed she took money meant for a dunk tank that was used at a recovery rally.
