Oilers Sweep Evanston

The Casper Oilers American Legion baseball team won a pair of games on the road in Evanston on Tuesday night. In the opener, The Oilers got a no-hitter from pitcher Carter Young who struck out 11  and 5 RBi's from Garret Clasen who went 2-4 at the plate. In the nightcap, Casper outlasted Evanston 16-6 as Corbin Kirk had 2 hits and 3 runs batted in. Dylan Johnson drove in 3 and Harrison Taubert had 2 RBI's and 2 runs scored. The Oilers improve to 23-10 on the year and will be in Rock Springs on Wednesday.
