November was another strong month for Casper-Natrona County International Airport.

Airport manager Glenn Januska says, compared with figures from November 2012, the airport saw an 8.7 percent increase in the number of departing passengers last month.

Januska says the airport is also approaching an important milestone that hasn’t been achieved since 1987.

“We’re already past the total number of passengers that we had in 2012 total, and we’re less than 10,000 passengers away from 100,000 passengers,” Januska said.

89,466 passengers left the airport last year. Thus far, in 2013, 90,685 passengers have left CPR.

Januska says nearly 9,600 passengers left Casper last December. The airport has seen a 13.5 percent year-to-date passenger increase.
