Kelly Walsh's Lane Johnson Signs with Rocky Mt. College

Kelly Walsh athlete Lane Johnson has decided on Rocky Mountain College in Montana to continue his football career. The student and school connected through academics and Johnson will get a chance at football after playing in the defensive secondary for the Trojans this past season. He was 2nd on the team in defensive points with 50 tackles and an interception. On offense, Johnson caught 11 balls for 113 yards and had 127 yards rushing for the season and a touchdown.

Johnson also competed on the Kelly Walsh swimming and diving team and qualified for the 4A state for the last 3 years in the diving event. In the 2022 championships in Gillette, Johnson placed 5th with 386.80 points. He was 6th in his junior year at state and 12th as a sophomore.

Rocky Mountain College is an NAIA school located in Billings.
