A registered sex offender now admits that he has re-offended.

Twenty-eight year old James Jaure has entered guilty pleas on two counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor and one count of third-degree sexual abuse of a minor.

At least three victims told investigators that during the course of the past year, they became friends with Jaure, because they believed he was a volunteer youth group leader at a Casper church.

Prosecutors say he was a janitor and was using an alias.

The victims say at various times, Jaure attempted, or committed various sexual acts with them.

Jaure was convicted of similar sex crimes in Cheyenne in 2004.

As part of a plea deal, prosecutors will seek no more than a 16-to-19 year prison sentence on each of the second degree charges, and no more than a 13-to-15 year sentence on the third degree charge.

The sentences would run concurrently.
