Fashion Meets Purpose At Casper’s Little Black Dress Event
Casper might be the new Paris, which means the Egg Beater is our Eiffel Tower! The Ramkota was crowded with fashionistas and support for women getting to work at Dress for Success' Little Black Dress Luncheon.
Guests heard powerful stories from women affected by the program that helps them transform their lives, literally dress for success, build a network of support, and develop tools to help them thrive in everyday life.
If you're unfamiliar, the mission of Dress for Success is to help unemployed and underemployed women achieve economic independence by providing no-fee programs, development tools and professional attire to thrive in work and in life.
The event featured a delicious plated lunch, an uplifting and vibrant fashion show, and testimonies from women who have made meaningful connections to help them grow and achieve their dreams.
The Casper branch of the international non-profit opened a new boutique on 216 East Second Street, formerly known as the Fashion Crossroads store.
There underemoployed or unemployed women can find apparel, jewelry, makeup, and coaching to help them find careers at no cost.
The Casper branch Executive Director is Amy White. She has been a guest on the Report to Wyoming podcast, you can listen to learn more about the program here, and scroll down to see photos from the gorgeous event below!
