Sheridan and Kelly Walsh met up in Casper for a 4A basketball doubleheader on Thursday night and these teams just saw each other last week in the Cheyenne Tournament.

In the girl's game, Sheridan pulled away in the 2nd half to beat Kelly Walsh 52-43. Sheridan made enough plays to win with balanced scoring as Mesa Hanft led the way with a dozen. Alli Ligocki who has signed with MSU-Billings for basketball had 11 points, Stanford track signee Addie Pendergast had 11 and so did Adeline Burgess. The Lady Broncs are 9-1 while Kelly Walsh falls to 2-9. The Trojans were led by Kennedy Davila with 21 with Lillian Hudson chipping in 14.

In the boys game, it was a close game down the stretch but Sheridan came out with a 46-41 win over Kelly Walsh. Sheridan's Truman DeGrange hit some clutch free throws down the stretch and he was a tough defensive assignment for the Trojans. DeGrange led the Broncs with 18 with 6-6 senior Garrett Spielman adding 10. Sheridan is 8-2 on the year and Kelly Walsh is 4-7. The Trojans got a sharp game from Jayden Becker with 16 and Carter Alvar added 7.
