If you love rodeo, there are few things more exciting than when a rodeo schedule is announced. Especially if it's a rodeo in a fantastic rodeo arena, in a town that loves rodeos, cowboys, and getting dirty on a Friday night.

The 2026 Kaycee Lions Club Friday Night Rodeo schedule is out, and it's jam-packed with roping, riding, racin, and now gathering. Yep, this year the nightly lineup will include stray gathering.

One of the things that I like about the Kaycee rodeo is that if you think you're able to do it, and even if you never have, your chance is Kaycee, WY. Here's the rundown of events each Friday beginning May 29.

  • 10 & under Barrels
  • 11-15 Barrels
  • Open Barrels
  • Rookie Bronc Riding
  • Bareback Riding
  • Bronc Riding
  • Team Roping
  • NEW Stray Gathering

If you're interested in entering any of these events, or multiple events, the entry fees vary. If you're planning on entering any of the rough stock categories, you'll need to enter by the Wednesday prior to each rodeo. You'll be able to fill out the entry form on the Kaycee Night Rodeo Facebook page the week of the rodeo.

Entries for events outside of rough stock (barrel racing, roping, and gathering) can be made the night of the rodeo by 6:45.

I mentioned the first night will be May 29, then there will be seven more Friday nights of rodeo action.

The rodeos will all begin at 7 pm, and it's only $10 per person to catch a great night of rodeo action in Kaycee, Wyoming!
