Interstate 80 between Laramie and Cheyenne is now open to all traffic in both directions.

Black ice advisories remain in effect between exit 30 (Bigelow Road) and mile marker 57 (Sweetwater County line); and between exit 83 (La Barge Road) and exit 130 (Point of Rocks).


ORIGINAL STORY:

Winter conditions and crashes have forced the closure of eastbound Interstate 80 from Laramie to Cheyenne.

As of 8 a.m., the Wyoming Department of Transportation estimated it would take crews three to five hours to get the 43-mile stretch back open.
