Hunter Lewis Fittje Memorial Fishing Derby Tomorrow

What better way to spend a summer morning than fishing with the family. The Hunter Lewis Fittje Memorial Fishing Derby is an event to promote just that.

This annual event happens at Yesness Park Pond from 9-11AM Saturday, July 14th. Bring your own fishing gear, bait, a lawn chair and sunscreen if you have them. Some of these items will be available to borrow for use during the derby. We encourage all participants to catch and release fish caught during the contest and the contest is limited to those youngsters from ages 0-9 but everyone is welcome to come out and fish.

Each registered participant will receive a fishing derby t-shirt, fishing derby license, and a goody bag. Fabulous door prizes will be awarded throughout the derby. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase and will be sold until 11:10am. The winning tickets will be drawn after the contest awards have been presented. Cost is $5.
