There's a change of coaches with the Casper Horseheads as manager Josh Hogan and assistant coach Jeff Lyle have both stepped down just 7 games into the season. Team management has indicated Hogan stepped down for personal and family reasons. Hogan is a Eugene, Oregon native who played at the University of Oregon. The Horseheads new manager will be Jason Carbonneau who is was on the staff of the Aberdeen, South Dakota franchise of the expedition league.

In last nights action. The Horseheads scored twice in the bottom of the 9th to beat Spearfish, South Dakota 4-3. Sam Olson with a 2 run walk off home run in the 9th to win that one. Casper native Alec Myers had a sharp performance on the mound, going 8 innings giving up 3 runs and striking out 7.

Casper is 4-4 and will have a doubleheader at Lansing Field today against western Nebraska. The first game at 5pm and the 2nd game will be at 6:30.
