Delta Airlines is changing their flights in and out of the Casper / Natrona County International Airport. According to a press release, starting March 2nd SkyWest Airlines, which operates as Delta Connection, will introduce an enhanced flight schedule for flights to and from Salt Lake City. The new schedule will include early morning and late evening flights which airport officials say will make it easier and more convenient for passengers to fly wherever they want to go.

“Currently, the first Delta flight departs out of Salt Lake City and flies to Casper, and returns to  Salt Lake City,” says Airport Director Glenn Januska. “That happens twice a day, so the aircraft always ends up back in Salt Lake City. With this change, the last Delta flight of the day arrives in Casper at 6:21 p.m., which will be the first outbound flight to Salt Lake City the next day. We think this change will be particularly popular with business travelers, providing a better chance to conduct business in a single business day.”

Januska says the new flight schedule is specifically designed to provide both business and leisure travelers with access to hundreds of daily flights to nearly 150 nonstop destinations from Salt Lake City (SLC). All Delta Connection flights from Casper to SLC are onboard the Bombardier-manufactured Canadair Regional Jet 200 (CRJ200) and will be operated by SkyWest Airlines.
