Ride for an hour, or 24, and help provide meals for seniors. It's the Second Annual Wheels for Meals Indoor Cycle-thon. "We started it last year," says Natrona County Meals On Wheels Board Member Bob Thunselle, "it was a 24-hour bike-a-thon and the whole purpose is to raise money for Meals On Wheels."

The Cycle-thon starts 8:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21st, and lasts through 8:00 a.m. Sunday October 22nd, at Lifetime Health and Fitness in Casper. Riders can pick the distance and goal they want to achieve, from one hour up to 24 hours, and build a team of up to five riders to ride together. There will be a number of activities throughout the event, including Cycle Class, pizza parties, a happy hour, live music, trivia, and even watching Sunday morning cartoons.

The goal is to raise at least $15,000 to fund Meals on Wheels. "It provides seniors meals in their homes to allow them to stay in their homes as long as possible," says Jamie Loveall, the Executive Director of Natrona County Meals on Wheels. "We deliver about 430 clients a day, we deliver about 530 meals a day. We just ended our year at 175,000 meals in Natrona County for the last year, and we're actually up 4000 meals from last year, so the need is absolutely out there and it's growing."
