Caspers Kris Hool Ranked #3 In The World In Top Alcohol Funny Car Racing [VIDEO]

After a #1 finish on Sunday at the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals at Brainerd Int'l Raceway, Casper Wyoming's team of Kris and Kevin Hool and K&K Racing have moved into the #3 spot in the world standings.

With a 1st place finish early in the year (you can read about that here),there was a lot of reason to be confident about the 2011 season, but a few miscues dropped the team to 6th place in June (click here) and as low as 8th place just last week. Sunday's final run at Brainerd was a big boost for the team and for the confidence of Driver Kris Hool. Kris has always said that his Crew Chief , and brother, Kevin has given him a car to win and that was proven as the Chevy Monte Carlo, named Ghost2, was 5.675 seconds in a quarter of a mile with a top speed of 256.06 mph. Kris took a few minutes from the road to visit with us about the race and the rest of the season.
