Casper Man Denies Trying to Stab Woman
A Casper man denied accusations that he threatened to stab a woman and throw her body in a river.
Jose Izaldo pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault in Natrona County District Court Tuesday for events that allegedly occurred last month.
According to an affidavit of probable cause, police were called to a residence in the 1200 block of First Street in Casper at roughly 3 p.m. June 9.
When police arrived, they met with the alleged victim who was visibly scared and trembling.
The alleged victim told police she didn't want Izaldo to come into her house but she was too scared to ask him to leave.
She went on to say that Izaldo had gotten upset with her and taken money from her the day before. Izaldo allegedly pushed her "all over" her home and grabbed a knife from the kitchen, stabbed it toward her face, just missing her.
Izaldo is also accused of threatening the victim's child.
