Natrona County and the Casper Area Economic Development Alliance are about to kick-off the development of their Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). The CEDS process will publicly launch with a community meeting on March 23 from 5:30-7:00pm at Art 321 in Casper.

Economic slowdowns, like the one Casper and Wyoming are currently experiencing, can be the right time to take a step back and plan without the urgency of major developments. Business growth and the economy are important to Natrona County, and many clusters or sectors within the local economy need individual focus and attention. Through this CEDS process, the planning team will work with individual business leaders and the county as a whole to identify a range of business clusters operating in Natrona County. Diversification is important to the economy. Diverse interests and businesses exist in Natrona County, and the planning team will work to represent all industry clusters in the CEDS study.

Natrona County needs your input as they kick-off the development of their Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy. For more details, please contact Noelle Reed, Vice President of Economic & Project Development 307-577-7011 or noelle@caeda.net.
