CAEDA Board Ousts President

The president and CEO of the Casper Area Economic Development Alliance, Robert Barnes has been fired from his position.

That from a story in the Wyoming Business Daily that states the CAEDA  board met Thursday morning to discuss the issue, but is not certain when Barnes left.

Natrona County Commission Vice Chairman, Bill McDowell, says the CAEDA board agreed to sever their employment of Mr. Barnes.  Mcdowell says it was a personnel matter, and the board would not discuss it publicly.

Steve Elledge, who retired last October from the Wyoming Business Council, will serve as interim director until a new director is found.
