Buffett Days At Alcova Marina [PHOTOS]

Over the weekend the Alcova Lakeside Marina brought us the world famous Jimmy Buffett Day Party! Twenty three years ago this event was born in honor of Jimmy Buffett and his contribution to legendary music, happy hour, the islands, and fun in the sun.  This day was dedicated to Jimmy and all the folks who love life.  Plenty of Jimmy Buffett music , along with a few other favorites, kept the crowd dancing all afternoon. After a "cheeseburger in paradise" and a few ice cold Coronas you would have thought you were in "margaritaville". On a hot summer day the crowd was ready to have fun. There were hula hoop contests, limbo contests and dance contests throughout the day. Mother Nature cooperated with a gentle breeze and fun was had by all! Be sure and put it on your calendar for next year.
