The Casper Bobcat junior hockey team posted 2 wins over the weekend in Steamboat, Colorado to improve to 14-24-2 in Western States League play. Friday's game was chippy to say the least with each team accessed 17 penalties for a total of 136 minutes in the box. But Casper received a hat trick from Daniel Silar and a goal apiece from Trevor Roehrig as well as Steven Olik to win that one 5-2. The Cats came right back on Saturday and beat the Wranglers 5-3 with Roehrig scoring twice so he ended up with a very strong effort in the series. Denis Matic, Alex Roth and Daniel Silar added goals as the Bobcats scored twice in the 1st period, once in the 2nd and twice more in the 3rd. It's back home for the Cats this Friday, Saturday and Sunday as they'll host Wichita, Kansas at the Casper Ice Arena
