The season mercifully came to an end for the Casper Bobcats junior hockey team as they were swept 2-0 in a best of three playoff series over the weekend. On Friday, The Cats were embarrassed 12-0 in a game where they managed just 6 shots on goal. Utah had 60 shots on goal with 8 different players scoring for the Outliers. Utah tallied 4 times in the 1st period, 5 times in the 2nd and 3 more in the 3rd. Game 2 of the series was more respectable but Casper dropped a 5-0 decision with 16 shots on goal. Utah peppered the net with 65 shots and scored twice in the 2nd period and 3 more in the 3rd. The Bobcats finish the season with a 9 game losing streak and a record of 16-36-1. Casper was outscored this year 273-145.
