Authorities Seek Missing Wyoming Man, Stolen Vehicle
Police in southwestern Wyoming are asking for the public's help in finding a missing man and a stolen vehicle.
Adam Rainwater, 75, is described as a Native American man with olive-colored skin. He stands 5'7" tall and weighs 200 pounds.
The vehicle reported stolen is a white 2011 Toyota Rav4 with Montana registration 137739G. The vehicle has a barbed-wire license plate frame and a disability tag hanging from the rear window.
According to a statement from the Rock Springs Police Department, officers responded to 417 Powell St. on Friday for a report of a stolen vehicle. Donna Munschenk, the owner of the Toyota, reported it as stolen.
Rainwater, who is an acquaintance of Munschenk's, is believed to be in possession of the Toyota. Police say Rainwater has left the area under suspicious circumstances, and a missing person report has been filed.
Anyone who sees either Rainwater or the Toyota, or anyone with information on the case, is asked to call dispatch at 307-352-1575 and ask to speak with Sgt. Erspamer.
