A circuit court judge has found that there is sufficient evidence that Amber Mefford be bound over to district court on 4 felony charges, including prostitution.

Mefford was one of 3 ladies arrested in a prostitution sting back on September 30th.

In a preliminary hearing, Officer Shawn Jenkins of the Casper Police Department, described to the court the events of that night, including how the department found a website ad that was offering companionship.

Jenkins said there were several ads for different ladies, all with the same phone number, and that number belonged to Mefford.

She also provided a link to a review website, which said she had engaged in previous prostitution acts.

Mefford and another lady met with the undercover agent at a Casper hotel and agreed on a $500 price.

The 2 ladies then started to engage in sexual acts on each other, before the rest of the police unit broke it up and arrested them.

The defense argued that the sex acts should have been considered voluntary, and that the charges should be at a misdemeanor level.

Mefford is now awaiting a court date.
