Catch the bus to Wyoming day at the National Western Stock Show this weekend.

You'll have to drive to Cheyenne to catch that ride of course, but, Kosha Olsen with the Wyoming Stock Growers Association says the tradition of organizing a group to go down is long standing.

"Historically there has been a group from Wyoming that's gone down to attend on this day.  They use to go by passenger train,  but now that that service is no longer available the Wyoming Stock Growers Association takes buses down for those wishing to attend."

Olsen expects several legislators to join the group along with the new Governor and his family who will meet up with the group in Denver.  The schedule for the day includes lunch together in the National Western Room followed by the Wyoming Day rodeo and a formal dinner together on the return.  She says reservations are necessary.

"You would need to call 307 638 3942 and ask for Kosha.  It's $1o0.00  if you want the entire package or if you'd just like to meet us down there and have lunch with us and attend the rodeo  that's  $35.00."

The bus leaves Cheyenne at 8am on Saturday morning.  The National Western Stock Show in Denver, one of the largest of its kind, is in its 105th year.
