Celebrate National Ag Day: Thank a Rancher or Farmer

American agriculture is responsible for providing the necessities of everyday life ... food, fiber, clothing and even fuel. That’s the message of National Ag Day, which is being celebrated today.

In observance of National Ag Day, producers, agriculture associations, corporations, universities, government agencies and countless others across America gather to celebrate the abundance provided by agriculture.

The National Ag Day program values the essential role of agriculture in maintaining a strong economy and focuses on educating Americans about the industry so they will understand how food, fiber and renewable resource products are produced.
