A live auction event next week in Casper is part of a three day Wyoming Natural Resources Rendezvous and Convention. The event takes place every five years and, according to Liz Lauck with the Wyoming Stockgrowers Association, the auction will raise funds through the sale of guided hunts, horses, jewelry, home décor and more.

Lauck says funds raised benefit the Stock Growers Association, the Wool Growers Auxillary, the Society for Range Management, the Stock Growers Land Trust, the Wyoming Natural resource Foundation and Wyoming Cattle Women.

"and all of these are nonprofit organizations that contribute to the agriculture industry in Wyoming; that help to support it, that help to advocate for the farmers and ranchers in our state."

Lauck says the auction is being previewed online.  Take a look and make a bid and support the organizations who advocate and care for your natural resources.

The live auction takes place Wednesday Dec 12th, 7pm at the Parkway Plaza. The full conference runs Dec 10th to the 13th.

Buyers can enter early bids and online bids will also be taken during the live auction. Those interested in bidding online must register as a bidder with Proxibid. Bidder registration can be completed by clicking the registration link on the auction website.

The Wyoming Natural Resources Rendezvous is a joint convention of the Wyoming Stock Growers (WSGA), Wyoming Association of Conservation Districts (WACD) and the Society for Range Management-Wyoming Section (SRM). The full convention is Dec. 10-13 in Casper at the Parkway Plaza. For a detailed schedule and to pre-register, visit www.wysga.org or call 307.638.3942.
