CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming U.S. Sen. John Barrasso has been re-elected to serve as chairman of the Senate Republican Policy Committee.

The Republican says the committee plans to move quickly and to work closely with the new administration of President-elect Donald Trump.

Barrasso says policy areas that will be high on the list for the new Congress include jobs, the economy, homeland security and dismantling the federal health care law enacted by President Barack Obama and Democrats.
