CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — With some big game seasons winding down in Wyoming, the state Game and Fish Department is conducting its annual harvest survey.

The department contracts with a company named Tetra Tech to conduct surveys for antelope, deer and elk harvests. Over the past week some 107,000 postcards were mailed to resident and nonresident hunters requesting that they complete their harvest survey online.

Hunters with Internet access can use the password provided on the green postcard to complete the survey online at wyhunter.org. Hunters who do not respond via Internet will be mailed a hard-copy survey.

Gail Sheridan, of the Game and Fish Department, says the online survey is the most efficient and cost effective option.

The survey takes about five to 10 minutes.
